When I use the cellphone, I use it only for applications and music, texting? not much of a texting guy. I do use it sometimes for text for asking assignments and other stuff. Also when calling my parents. By time I don't even remeber how to check my load balance. Anyway, chat is more of a conversational thing I do with far away people.
I usually chat with people, at first I thought what are these phrases and acronyms about, BRB, GTFO, and YOLO. Once I found out about what these acronyms meant, I was really troubled, because it took the same time as saying the original word. For example BRB means be right back, and it both took the same time to say the word. I don't do this kind of stuff, because I think its stupid. Another thing is converting letters into words, which was really annoying to read. For example tH!s !z r34l!y STuP1D, you see that, that meant "this is really stupid, and it was. Its really irritating for the reader because it is really confusing and for the writer because it takes a harder time to type.
This types of doings make the human race advancing to the future really stupid. I liked the time when people used to do something amazing for mankind, quotes which moved us to keep pushing forward in life. Things are different in this world now, these things in chatting with people like, BRB, and converting letters into words don't affect me. Sometimes I get new words from the internet or through chat which is really helpful.
