Finally its the most awaited break for us students, our semestral break. Now I don't really have big plans for our semestral break, I just thinked that all I am gonna this semestral break is stay inside and play video games, but my plans were foiled by my mother, that I have to get out and enjoy myself. I can already tell this is going to be a boring semestral break.
On the first two day I had done nothing but waste myself with video games and tv commercials, but on Wednesday, we had to go to my aunt's house because all saints day and her house is to the cemetery where my grandpa is resting. As soon as we got there I greeted my grandma and my aunt. I borrowed their neighbors bicycle and go biking throughout the place. I got the bike and ride my way off to get to know the place better. I strolled throughout the neighborhood to see some familiar faces, good thing I didn't. I had one last route to go, the way to the beach, I was strolling through the road where you can get a good glimpse of the sun sinking in the sea. It was a beautiful scenery, and I admit it I enjoyed my biking. I got home to my tita's place to rest, and ate dinner, which was really delicious even though it wasn't that fancy, you don't have to enjoy dinner just because the food is delicious, you can enjoy it as there is company and the whole family is here. Days passed and finally November came, man time really is fast, and I have to savor every minute of life. We got prepared for All Saints Day in the afternoon. As soon as we got there we lit up the candles and offered prayers for our grandpa. He was loved by all of us and sadly passed away in 2012. We ate pansit, and I was curious how was it black, then my mom told me she used squid ink to flavor it up, then I taught, oh yeah black is color for all saints day. It was a little boring after and I wandered of and saw familiar faces, two of them actually. I caught up to them and was really happy, we chatted our time to pass by. After that we watched the fireworks which was spectacular especially on our view since we were very close to it. We got a days rest and the next day we were supposed to watch the new movie THOR: Into the Dark World. The movie was as I expected, awesome. After all that it was Sunday, last day before semestral break ends.
Before all of this ends, i would like to recall of my activities of my "not so boring" semestral break. It turned out to be really fun. I didn't expected it to be fun since video games were taken out of the situation. I hope that Sunday never ends so I can grasp again that feeling I had all week.
